I loved it.
I loved every second of it.
I'm tired. I'm covered in 5th grade cooties. My feet HURT.
But I loved it.
As expected for the first day of school, we did a lot of procedures. If you've talked to me at any point this summer, you would know that my biggest fear about starting 5th grade was that I would forget a procedure. For some reason, that thought consumed me. No matter how many check lists I made, I remained anxious. Well, I did forget a procedure and the kids didn't know otherwise. Nothing blew up. The "Teacher Gods" didn't come down and burn me at the stake. Everything was ok! * I say this because I want to work on this. This constant worrying over things I can't control. I want to get to a point this year where I'm ok with not being perfect.
* If anyone has an idea for how the kids can put up their clipboards, let me know. Every kid has a number and their number is on their clipboard
